Ampeg Tube Head and New Venture Cabs

Hi,

With the release of the new lighter weight Venture Cabinets by Ampeg, has anybody paired any of these with the V-4B Tube head ?

I was tempted as a V4B user but I don’t like the slippery tolex they use ( Same as the Portaflex cabs ) whereas the SVT212AV has the foot wells to keep the head from moving

In my mind the thing you need to look at is the efficiency of the installed drivers. With only 100W of power available efficiency is a vital consideration.
