G&L SB-2 gains a tone knob

Well, they've resisted since 1989, but the G&L SB-2 (USA made) has finally gained a tone knob.

The Tribute appears to still be volume/volume only at this time.

I've heard of enough cases of people who've modded theirs to suggest otherwise.  It's not really a big deal - you don't have to turn the tone knob...

Works for me, although I’d still prefer a master volume and blend.

I would just like the chance to actually buy a G&L US or Tribute at the moment! They seem rather thin on the ground.

Unobtainium at the moment, sorry to report.  There have been supply issues, from what I've been told, as well as some upheaval regarding which retailers G&L want to work with in the UK going forward.

 

Hopefully it will be resolved soon.

Have you seen the one in Andromeda on their website? Talk about GAS! I asked Andertons when they may be able to supply one...still waiting for a reply.
