There's a version of 'Something Else' by Slade , recorded live at the Reading fest , done as a medley with 'pistol packing mama' which turns into a bass solo starting with 'purple haze'. !!

It came out as the 'Slade alive at Reading EP' and it's on various CD compilatons these days.
