Vin Venal
I just switched to a warwick gnome I pro, the 300 watt one. Have played through it for quite a few hours already, and it's been with me to band practice, and I'm seriously impressed. Plenty loud enough. Really great clean sound. Nice musical eq (I push the mids and roll off the treble a bit and it's perfect). I got it for easier transportation cuz it's so compact and light, but I wasn't expecting to be as happy as I am with the sound. It got slightly warm after a long practice, but nothing I'm worried about. Can't wait to record with it. This will be my main amp now.
Lozz196
I`ve recently bought myself one of these as a backup, not used it with band yet as have been too lazy but have been impressed with sound and amount of volume available when using it at home.

Phil Starr
It's insane just how much amp you get for your money nowadays. I use my baby Gnome as first choice amp nowadays as it sits in my gig bag. It was meant to be backup but the 'real' amps usually end up left in the van.
Linus27
I adore my Gnome IPro 280, it is small, compact, punchy and sounds incredible. It easily matches the volume of my Little Mark IV but just lacks a little bit of EQ options and transparency in the tone. If it had a little more tonal options like the 600w big brother then it would be perfect. Saying that, I have never not been able to get an amazing tone out of it and do use it live a lot of the time rather than using my Little Mark IV. Incredible amp.
msb
We really do have wonderful choice today. I’ve been thinking that I’d grab an Elf if I see one going for a good price. I probably should add the Gnome to that list.
Nos
What cabs are people using these heads with as I'm looking to get the ipro V2 but need a lightweight cab to use with it? There's quite a lot of positive feedback on the amps but nothing on the Warwick gnome cabs as far as I can see (from gigs anyway, someone replied to me about using it for noodling at home that was useful)

There's quite a lot of positive feedback on the amps but nothing on the Warwick gnome cabs as far as I can see (from gigs anyway, someone replied to me about using it for noodling at home that was useful) I wanted to build a mini rig to go with my Gnome Ipro 280 and looked at a lot of different small cabs. I'd read reviews from owners that the Gnome cabs are quite boxy and break up easily. I'd personally not tried them but I was put off by these reviews. I did consider a MarkBass Traveler but this was still a little too big for what I was trying to achieve. In the end I went for the TC Electronic 208 and I could not be happier. I'd read a lot of good reviews on here and elsewhere and not actually one bad review anywhere. I have now done a few gigs with mine and it is simply brilliant and pairs so well with the 280w Gone. The footprint is tiny, they are super light to carry and are about £190 new so great value. Just to add, my other rig is a Barefaced Two10 with a MarkBass LM IV but I am so impressed with my Gnome that I am super tempted to get rid of the LM IV and pick up the 500w Gnome. Nos
Thanks for the feedback, I’d not found any independent reviews but if the tc208 pairs that well I can get that and try it on return if it’s not what I want, so nothing lost. There’s a good price 280w gnome just be posted so going to try and buy that👍
Nos
Read the reviews on lfsys cabs and nothing but amazing feedback so might wait to see when they’re likely to be available (or if I can afford them🤣). Ideally wanted a 2x10 so I only have to carry one cab about. 🤞🏻The gnome hasn’t gone from the marketplace

Nos
So I bought the gnome ipro and a TC BC208 and tried it out at rehearsals. Rest of the band was impressed with how good it was and although driving the gain quite hard (makes it more punchy in my opinion) had to keep the volume right down, loads of headroom and great sound. Huge thanks to everyone for there advice and reviews as I wouldn’t have given it a go without being on here and pulling from people’s experience 👍
