UK guitar show, March 2024

I went to this last year, same venue. A good show, with enough bass gear to make for an enjoyable Sunday afternoon. Parking right at the venue is tight, but you can spill out into the streets of the surrounding industrial estate. 

Well organised and not too loud (amps on only for 10 minutes each half hour and everyone at sensible volume, and a separate acoustic hall)

I'll be there Sunday as it's in my hometown ! I used to work about 200 yards from the building. Find me loitering around the Ashdown stand on Sunday.

This show has been in Birmingham for I think 10+ years, it was previously at New Bingley Hall (city centre) until it spontaneously combusted in 2022.

That was the London Guitar Show, held at Wembley.  I went to the first few, which were really good.

I'm hoping to be going, went at the old venue and it was pretty good!

Hi

Have exhibited at this show for many years. The new venue is excellent and it is a really good show getting better every year. I will be there this year with only basses launching a new model and reintroducing the Graft Series.

Looks like I'll be going on the Saturday, my guitarist buddy has just confirmed he can do that day, and it was my preference anyway.

 

I know I joked before, but is there any way we could identify each other? Is BC merch still a thing? I'd buy a T shirt if so, or something cheaper 😅

 

Might make myself something if not. Would be good to say hi!

Dayglo nipple clamps?

I don't know which day I'll be going, and probably won't until Friday evening.  I've got things on both mornings.

If I remember I'll wear my Bass Bash t-shirt, which would cover up the nipple clamps.

 

We could make up some BassChat badges in standard ID size. I have a slowish day today, I'll see what I can design and post a couple of ideas here.

I'm going on the Saturday with three friends.  Two play guitar, so they're sitting in the back of the car whilst us bassists do the hard work.

Quick starter ideas for badges, let me know what you think. I've got some ideas for (slightly corny) slogans as well.    These will print fine at the right size for a typical lanyard, so I'll create a PDF with all the final variants on and upload it.

 

 

 

 

 

@ped - I may have asked this before. Is the BassChat  logo in a particular font?
