Jack
Just seen this advertised in chrome. I've actually been looking at adding a thumb rest to a bass but I can't see anything about shipping to the UK. Loving their terms and conditions. 1

miles'tone
My favourite Paul bassline.
LeftyJ
Came here expecting Warwick content. My disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined. All jokes aside, that looks clever - but it's quite bulky! On a bass with a pickguard, I think I would prefer a Zero Mod thumbrest. They use the existing screw holes of the pickguard and / or pickups. I just feel some of them are too far away from the E-string. 1
NickA
Bit limiting of where you put your thumb / pluck the strings, isn't it. Never used a thumb rest myself, but isn't something longer and more parallel to the strings more useable?

The shape doesn't seem perfect but it should get the job done.

ead
I prefer the ZeroMod option as less in your face for me, YMMV obs. So, in the son titles theme, "Always Thumb Fin There To Remind Me"

No, the instructions say it's best to apply the Thumb Fin before plugging in and tuning up but only after checking for inclement weather.

simisker
$66 for shipping 3 of the blighters. I bailed at that point. Shame

ratman
I would have bought one of these. $20 would have been worth a punt. But their website quoted me $60 for shipping to the UK. Add on import duty and it's definitely not worth a punt.

Supernaut
The amount of pointless guitar accessories that are pushed on us - who buys this cr@p?
ratman
I have a Fender Kingman acoustic bass. As there's no pick up I'd like something to rest my thumb on without screwing or glueing it on. I'd try something like this if they weren't taking the p!ss with the shipping costs.
Lfalex v1.1
I use the inside of the rear edge of the soundhole on acoustics (if the Kingman has one!)
Baloney Balderdash
If they had called it Trump Fin they would have ensured half of the US population buying their product, even if only a miniscule fraction of those actually play bass.
ratman
They have added some cheaper options on the shipping now. £16 for a 1st class international package. I’ll probably try one now.
