Fender Jazz Scratchplate colour

I am wanting to source a pickguard for a jazz bass. The fender colour is parchment. I am finding guards described as white and cream and am wondering if cream is parchment as opposed to white. Can anyone throw some light on this. Thanks.

Parchment is off white, it's not bright white or cream, but kind of in the middle.

I thought that the pickguard on my P was parchment and was going to send a link to the guy who made it, but on checking the order confirmation it's actually vintage white and they don't do parchment at all. Vintage white is in the same ballpark as parchment, if you're interested.
