Very simple and effective, turns your passive basses into an active monster. The main thing I like is, that it doesn't necessarily give you that "active" tone, it's still organic and retains the passive quality of whatever bass its used with, it just enhances what's there. Bass - 40Hz Treble 4Khz I've even used this with active basses (set flat) to add that tone. It's become a very essential pedal to me, so much so I sold my EBS pre, and I plan to buy the DI version of this pedal. It's in as new condition and built like a tank, I have the original box.
