Best Geezer Butler bassline

As for an all-time favourite Geezer bassline, I love playing Lady Evil, and I'm still trying to get Children Of The Sea and Slipping Away right. I think War Pigs might be my favourite, though.

I’d go for late 70’s onward too - Never Say Die (love the whole album), Heaven And Hell and Mob Rules.

 

Of course - there’s lots on forums about the bass on H&H…..with the band saying that Geezer replaced Craig Gruber’s original lines faithfully. CG had said that the band looked after him very well for his efforts…..

 

I read a long piece once talking about how H&H doesn’t sound like Geezer….people had picked it apart. 
 

Either way, it’s a fabulous piece of work, bass and otherwise. My top 2 Sabs albums - that, and Mob. 🤟
