SH73 Posted February 16, 2024 Posted February 16, 2024 Hi, before I electrocute myself I thought I ask a question.i bought a rack effect American version runs on 110 v and of course american plug. Would any step do n adaptor, UK to USA 230v -110 v work like this one thanks. Quote
itu Posted February 16, 2024 Posted February 16, 2024 Yes, if the wattage is enough. This one says 45 W which isn't a lot, only 400 mA. If the unit's consumption is low, that still may be enough. Check the effect's specs. 1 Quote

Suburban Man Posted February 18, 2024 Posted February 18, 2024 If you have a multimeter worth checking earth continuity from amp to bass through the fx unit. The step-down unit is double-insulated, which is fine, but obvs it doesn't provide an earth. Quote

So I don't know how it would benefit if I check my current amps fx outputs? Unless I misread what you meant. Quote

But to be honest, on consideration, its a daft remark by me! (Based on a memory of old American gear that used a cheap auto-transformer to drop the 230v to 110v) So please ignore. I'll go and have a nap... 1 Quote
