EDIT: RRP is about £1050 ish. Thomann and Bonners (?) are equally cheap though. Edited February 17, 2024 by fretmeister Quote
M@23 Posted February 17, 2024 Posted February 17, 2024 They’ve been £850+/- in a few shops for a few months now. I assumed they were about to get discontinued alongside the 121h, but hasn’t happened yet. Quote
fretmeister Posted February 17, 2024 Author Posted February 17, 2024 Ah! Could be. I had one for years. Excellent bit of kit. I’m amazed how cheap they go for on eBay now. If I had the room I’d get another. Mind you, I’d quite like to get a 121P if the wooden cabinet stuff is getting discontinued. The new material combos are quite a bit bigger, and I’m not yet convinced the mystery material will last as long as a wooden cab. Maybe I’ll just Hot glue / weld a head to a BF cab instead! 1 Quote
M@23 Posted February 17, 2024 Posted February 17, 2024 I’ve had one too and loved it. Very nearly bought another but decided to go for a Rumble 800 instead. I’ve not had chance to try one of the new non-wooden cabs. I’m not sceptical as such, there must be something there? But, as you say, how will they hold up to the test of time and load ins/outs/gig life? Thought it was a shame the 121h was discontinued, hopefully this isn’t headed the same way. 1 Quote
M@23 Posted February 23, 2024 Posted February 23, 2024 Shame, though there’s probably going to be some good deals! The MK4 version of this and more so the 121h were pretty short lived! Quote
fretmeister Posted February 24, 2024 Author Posted February 24, 2024 I was really tempted by one 1 on eBay the other week. It went for about £375! I should have bought it. 1 Quote
