Paolo85 Posted February 19, 2024 Posted February 19, 2024 I am glad he's doing well for himself. Maybe he should consider bigger venues though Quote
BassApprentice Posted February 19, 2024 Posted February 19, 2024 That's the sharp end of the gig pricing spectrum. Many top bands are now charging £100+ for big gigs, but they are normally with support, bigger "show" and probably a slightly longer set. Appreciate this is a very intimate venue so you get a better view but that's still expensive. Quote
fretmeister Posted February 19, 2024 Posted February 19, 2024 I'd rather pay that for Ronnie's than being 200 yards away in a field. 4 Quote
nekomatic Posted February 19, 2024 Posted February 19, 2024 In a market economy, we must conclude that that’s the price at which the demand for Marcus Miller matches the supply of Marcus Miller. 4 Quote

It's Ronnie's - it will sell out in 2 days. The members will probably buy 3/4 of the tickets. I wish I lived near it. I'd love to see more stuff in smaller venues. 1 Quote

I’d say that would be fair pricing for a lengthy session, free album and afternoon masterclass but it would sting me to pay that for 75 minutes. The world needs more Robert Smiths. https://faroutmagazine.co.uk/the-cure-on-ticket-prices-we-want-the-tour-to-be-affordable-for-all-fans/ 1 Quote
fretmeister Posted February 19, 2024 Posted February 19, 2024 I saw Prince at the Dome O2 and he just kept adding dates until demand slowed to stop the scalpers. The tickets were about £35 and came with his new CD. Amazing Gig! 2 Quote
