barfly Posted February 9 Posted February 9 (edited) I stumbled into a Becos Twain Mk 1. I have been looking for a fast VCA compressor to pair with an existing tube compressor. The plan is to try to use this as an end-of chain glue compressor. Small issue: it needs a power supply that is 2mm longer than standard Boss 10mm barrels. The power jack is recessed behind 2mm of the pedal's case. 12mm Cioks cable coming next week. Edited February 9 by barfly Typo 4 Quote
Bagman Posted February 10 Posted February 10 This is way above my needs and functionality abilities but it’s very cool. As per all FTT gear I have used it’s superbly constructed Quote

It's the kinda tweak ability that's great.... till my daughters decide to play with my pedals and move all the knobs- and then something like a SA atlas with saveable presets comes into it's own! 2 1 Quote

Do you think there’s a lot of difference between the two. I’ve never tried the older version so I can’t judge. Quote

The attack/release times are different. The range of the HPF is different. The new one seems to have more bottom and is more transparent than the older one. The older one seems a bit clearer on top and colours the sound more than the newer one. Depending on what they are paired with, one can sound better than the other. This Grand Slampegg is really nice. Really like the Shift Line Olympic and the Origin BassRig 64 Black Panel too. It’s got out of hand! (And that’s not including the 8 other (soon to be 9) Source Audio pedals.) Edited 22 hours ago by Quatschmacher 1 1 Quote
