Hey I am not in a position at the moment to do any recordings, it would just be just using mobile phone and that would not do it justice.  Hopefully there will be demos soon, through some circumstances I got it really early.

 

I can just give a quick opinion after playing around with it yesterday. I had been using OC5 for a bit and I liked it but I like having couple of different pedals for similar usage and T47 came up here and I have to say it suits me better. So I have been gigging the T47 for some time now and I really like it. The M3.33 is in similar ball park tone wise (of course OC2 derivatives) but I think the tracking is better. Or at least it felt like it. I had been at a practice the night before getting the M3.33 and I was playing the same stuff and it sounded great.  I still have to play around with the Tone and the overdrive switch more but I most of the time kept the Overdrive switch on and I really liked it. I was also running it into Doom2 and IE XD (which just makes everything sound better). I was getting very similar sounds as from the T47 but as I said I need to play around more with the Tone but it was really impressive.

 

I will reserve final judgement on the pedal until practicing with my bands and gigging but I am really  impressed and I really like it.

In the 80s all Boss bass pedals were brown.

Just bought a GFI system Skylar, and a Strymon Bluesky, sadly this is also giving me some headaches, I use Yousician for practice at home, but its detection system is so touchy that now i have so much latency in my pedalboard that Yousician doesn't detect my notes in time, but outside of practic they are extremly great sounding pedals

Just bought this modded OC2 from here. I wanted a single pedal which I could throw in the loop of my Meatball filter to give an octave synth sound, so this is perfect as it gives both octaves with a delicious fuzz which pairs with the filter perfectly.

Nice I bought the Cog T16 and The Pearl Octave

 

Also have an MXR Bass Octave Deluxe inbound so can have another shootout and decide my preference.

The MXR looks like it has lots of useful options. I did look at the MXR with the built in fuzz but it doesn't take a battery which put me off, as when I use this it'll be added to my pedalboard without actually being mounted, sort of like a guest patch-in. The OC2 uses so little battery that it'll work fir a long time before it needs changing, whereas using the MXR I'd have to have a separate adapter or a spare output from my Cioks and a messy loose cable when it's not being used.

I'm one of the lucky few who managed to type fast enough.

I expected it to just be an aesthetic update, but the circuit is an improvement over the original mk.iii. The way the tone knob and 'overload' (FKA the 'Tim' switch) interact in a much more musical and useful way, especially when stacking with filters, drives and fuzzes.

Really want to check this out. How does it compare to your mini?

The mini and the Mk.i are muddier by comparison, there's less separation between the dry and the octave. But you can get that All Sub sound if you want (I prefer to hear the the two as separate). Plus there's far more tonal variation when you start playing with the Overload switch and the tone knob.

I have the MKII, which is my favourite of all I’ve tried (original, Mini, MKII and MKIII). I really didn’t like the MKIII very much (at least with my basses).
