Joining here because hey, you can't be a member of too many bass forums :)

I started playing bass some 30+ years go, spent a good few years as a guitar player in a semi-pro band, and then went back to bass 4 years ago. I'm in 2 bands at the moment, a heavy sludge/doom/metal band, and a rock/metal band that started out as an Alice in Chains cover band, but recently have started making own music.

A have a few basses, 7 is almost too many according to my wife, but my main ones are my Warwicks, my old 1987 Streamer Stage 2 and I just got a 2003 Blonde Thumb a couple of weeks ago.

And that's pretty much it, I'll just go back to lurking a bit and reading what's been going on here :)

Halla @Rolf! Welcome!

Nice basses! 7 is a healthy number.

We seem to share the same approach of lurking/reading/learning. I'm mainly doing that and have added the skill of releasing those emoticons.

Lots of good people here. Enjoy!
