Up for grabs is a Creation Audio Grizzly bass pedal.

 

It is a very highly regarded Overdrive/distortion/light fuzz pedal with a variable high cut and variable mid cut.

 

I have been using it for a touch of grit which it absolutely excels at.

 

Built like a tank and reassuringly heavy, all in excellent working order.

 

Requires 9 volt 250ma power and looks pretty spectacular on a dark stage!

 

I am based in Leicester where you are welcome to collect or I am happy to wrap it securely and post it next day insured special delivery to a UK address.

These are currently £220 at Bass Direct so this is a significant saving.

Typical distortion relies on ridiculous gain and clunky forced-clipping, which creates unwanted noise. Which in turn needs to be filtered out—and that makes for thin, nasal tone. Ever wonder why pedals intended for guitar don’t work well for bass? This is why.  

 

But Grizzly Bass borrows proprietary wave-shaping technology from the Holy Fire to achieve tube-like saturation without adding noise or heavy filters—preserving your bass tone all the way down to 20Hz. And it sounds great on guitars too!

Lovely pedals, I’ve got No. 1 and love it. Versatile in what it can do, amongst other tones it has a fantastic slap one (if that’s your thing).
