Does anybody know where I can get a reasonably priced set of black tuning pegs for a fender Geddy lee jazz
The Geddy Lee I just bought from Sifi has a set of black Wilkinson Machine heads fitted and they are very good quality.( Not for sale though )

I stealthed a Geddy a couple of years ago

Slightly different. I had a black scratchplate, control plate and red strings. White pickup covers

cool mine is going to be very stealth
it is being repainted in a nice smooth satin black
gloss black scratchplate black tuners and chrome bridge & control plate just for a bit of contrast

I did contemplate some cream pup covers funny enough though but couldnt find them

just found your original post for the geddy
as I remember I was looking at it before
says you broke the headstock off trying to fit them so they cant be that good a replacement :)

Having the proper tools does help .. just make sure you rout the holes out enough .. actually only split it not totally broken off but stays in tune just fine now .. well ask Will in a year or two !!

Be careful with those Wilkinson ones - I've found they don't quite fit the standard Jazz headstock without requiring some filing.

il give them a miss
I only want a direct drop in replacement so I can take them out and put the standard ones back if i want
Hipshot HB2s apparently are the ones
