Waxies Dargle - a tribute to the late Shane MacGowan, Ipswich, 23rd March 2024

For several years, until Covid and lockdowns intervened, I was fortunate to play in a band called Waxies Dargle, which played the music of The Pogues.

 

To mark Shane's passing, we've decided to come out of retirement to play a one-off concert to celebrate Shane's life and all the great music that he and the Pogues made, and raise some money for Encephalitis International.

 

Saturday 23rd March 2024 at 7.30 pm, St Stephens Church, St Stephens Lane, Ipswich IP1 1DP .
