I enjoy some of the AI descriptions that are appearing on eBay recently, For example, "whether you're a beginner or a seasoned professional, this bass is sure to tick all the boxes" (a genuine word-for-word quote from one particularly desperate listing).

It depends on the instrument as well. My 1987 Warwick is almost perfect whereas a Fender of the same age would look as if someone had dug a garden up with it.

When it comes to equipment, cables, connectors etc: If it advertises itself as 'Professional' it almost certainly isn't.

That may be why you'll see some relics described as "mint", which is quite confusing.
