I enjoy some of the AI descriptions that are appearing on eBay recently, For example, "whether you're a beginner or a seasoned professional, this bass is sure to tick all the boxes" (a genuine word-for-word quote from one particularly desperate listing).

It depends on the instrument as well. My 1987 Warwick is almost perfect whereas a Fender of the same age would look as if someone had dug a garden up with it.

Rare - 9 times out of 10 (there are exceptions) it's not even remotely 'rare'.

It's like cars. To my mind, "low mileage for year" = "high mileage, but im trying to put a positive spin on it."
