I had a fretless one, made in Korea, nice bass actually. Very nice to play, nicely put together, no complaints at all.

 

However, it does depend on how much money you're talking about. Mine was about a ton and a half if I remember right.

Having taken said bass off Russ’s hands I second his opinion. Decent and perfectly usable for that kind of cash.
