Hello there.

On eBay at the mo, theres a guy in Germany selling Switch-mode power amps for £99.
They are only 250watts a side at 4 ohms.

Im probably looking at running each side with a 1x12" cab.
I was just wondering is this would be loud enough for Vocal only PA gigs.
I currently have a 2x12" cab, but the weight is stupid, and the speakers are seriously inefficient (I used to have a Little Mark II, and often had it fully open just to be heard. But through a mates 1x10, we couldn't go above 3 on it!)

So with efficient 4 ohm 12" speakers, is it going to be loud enough to gig?

Cheers

Get a pair of Mackie SRM 350's/450's for vocal only PA and they will last you years and you won't have to keep upgrading separate bits. You might as well burn £99 as bother buying it; if it's too good to be true, it probably isn't.
