ALL SOLD, THANKS!

OK people, the time has come for me to put my money where my mouth is and buy the cab I've been harping on about for ages - the mighty Barefaced Compact.

Therefore, with much regret but hope in my heart, I am letting these two fine cabinets go, a 2007 Trace Elliot 1518 and a V-Type 4x8 cab. They're my favourite Trace cabs ever, the 4x8 is one which I will truly miss as it's a great little cab, but needs must and I need lighter, louder gear :)

V-Type 4x8 - SOLD
A cracking cab. 240W, 8 ohms, punchy, smooth and tight bass. Nice. This is pretty damn rare, I've seen one other on fleabay and that's it. Price reflects rarity and condition (which is pretty damn good for a 14/15yr old cab!)

EDIT: comes with 2 spare Celestion BG60 drivers (custom made for this cab)

1518 - SOLD
As I've said on here, this is the best Trace 1x15 I've ever played through. 500W, 8 ohms. It's tighter, deeper and rounder in tone than the old 1518. And it's much lighter - I can carry this in one hand (though that is difficult coz it's a biggie!) Comes with the Trace embroidered cover. I traded this for my old V-Type combo with Tinman, he can give you more low-down if he so wishes! I've gigged this precisely twice and I think Tinman only used it a few times. It's in fine condition, a few marks here and there but nothing more than that. Priced to sell (hopefully).

(Beautifully demonstrated by BC's very own Mr Truscott. He doesn't come with the cab I'm afraid. Nor does the Hartke or the Status

I'm really interested in the wee 8 by 4 cab... but I suppose it would cost about a million euros to post to Dublin Ireland?

The irony of this is not lost on me - almost immediately after I posted this FS thread one of these 4x8 cabs appeared on ebay. It sold last night for £182.77, which is a bargain. Have a look here.

I've priced mine at £225. I was thinking that means £200 for the cab and £25 for the extra two drivers. Sounds fair to me!

Any interest?

I'm very interested in the 4x8 but unfortunately I can't justify it with a holiday coming in July!

I might have a long think when I get paid at the end of the month if it's not gone by then though!

It's probably still going to be here! Will be going on ebay tonight for a week but I will close the auction if you decide you do want it :)

Sunday evening bump - the 4x8 cab has 2 days left on ebay and no bids, so a chance to get it cheaper than it's advertised on here.

Needs to go!

Right, the 4x8 didn't sell even for the bargain starting price of £185. Anyone on here can have it with the 2 spare drivers for £200+ shipping :)

The 4x8 (4808) was originally manufactured as the extension cab to the 4808 V-type 4x8 combo in their 1996 - 1999 range. The July 1996 lists the price of these as £425, so get yourselves a bargain folks (and save on a lifetimes chiropractor fees!) :-)

Sorry dude! There's one on ebay at the mo, tho I think the seller is a little overoptimistic with his pricing...
