Also, I've often wondered what it's like playing a bass with an epoxy coated fingerboard? I play a lot of fretless and upright, so I've always been intrigued, but never had the opportunity to try one out. (Only time I ever saw a pentabuzz was in Tokyo, and the guy in the shop wasn't too forthcoming with the tryouts like! But then, who can blame him!)
