Ladies and gentlement, I submit to you the worst relic job I've ever seen. Custard appears to have been involved in the process.

Hats off to him for at least owning up to the fact it's a Squier, after he's gone to the effort of replacing the decals.

The custard seems to have crept into the neck joint too. Do you think it might improve sustain? :)

Couple of things - 'reliced' as a word is wrong

If you're going to relic a bass at least try to find pictures of a bass that's had it done naturally over time

Lastly, I like custard

Is it supposed to represent global warming?

You have to dab it with a wet tea bag too, make it look even more aged :)

In fairness, the cigarette burn on the headstock is a classic. Also some of the best bands set fire to their headstock's:

:)

Yeah, what the hell is with the yellow? I've never seen a bass spontaneously start to leak pus as it gets older, although the burnt bits do suggest that it has a nasty infection.

I'm not against relicing, but I was under the impression that it was done with sandpaper and stain, not a backhoe and a flame-thrower.

:) Zing!

No need to get your coat. I've already set fire to it and poured custard through the sleeves. It's worth twice as much now.
