joeystrange Posted April 7, 2024 Posted April 7, 2024 I’m considering getting a custom bass built. Only a single Jaguar but nowhere does a production model that I like. I came across Guitar & Bass Build UK but I don’t know much about them. Does anyone have experience with them and their builds? Alternatively are there any other builders I should be looking at? Quote
attackbass Posted April 7, 2024 Posted April 7, 2024 I had a stingray body made by them. It's a good quality, light alder body. I sent them the status neck to make sure it was a perfect fit. I would use them again. I think the woodworking aspect and wood quality is great. 1 Quote
JohnH89 Posted April 7, 2024 Posted April 7, 2024 I had them make a slab P bass body some years ago out of baseball bat ash . It weighs a ton , which I expected and have no problem with . Great work from them and a lovely piece of wood . All perfectly as specced and playing it still with a DIY fretless neck conversion . Go for it 😁 1 Quote
uk_lefty Posted April 7, 2024 Posted April 7, 2024 Bought a non standard body off them, very good value and excellent quality. Really worth using them if you want good quality rather than buying the very cheap parts you can get on eBay etc. 2 Quote
