bubinga5 Posted April 7, 2024 Posted April 7, 2024 (edited) I watched the SBL Podcast with him and he comes across as very humble polite man. What a monster player he is. Too busy.? Maybe depends on your perspective but this guy knows his bass playing inside and out. I personally love hearing what these Gospel cats can do. Its like watching a Lamborghini of the bass world. Better to have it and not use than not have it in the vocabulary. Edited April 7, 2024 by bubinga5 2 Quote
ezbass Posted April 7, 2024 Posted April 7, 2024 Wow! Love that playing. US church music seems a completely different animal to what we normally have here (I understand that they're paid gigs, from what I've heard), that is completely joyous and funky at the same time. Who wouldn't want that to celebrate one's faith? 1 Quote
bassbloke Posted April 8, 2024 Posted April 8, 2024 You should watch the SBL where he adds his own bass part to Iron Maiden's The Trooper. It's brilliant. Quote
