Owen Posted April 9, 2024 Posted April 9, 2024 (edited) 1 x chrome BT3 - £55 1 x Gold GB7 - £55 They do not fit what I have. But all my basses have gone back together with no screws left over. Edited April 10, 2024 by Owen
PhilAllGaps1 Posted April 10, 2024 Posted April 10, 2024 Hi Owen, I have a BT-3 and that doesn’t look like mine. It should be Fender vintage style reverse winding and should fit straight on a re-issue or similar bass but not a Mexican non-reissue. Phil.
PhilAllGaps1 Posted April 10, 2024 Posted April 10, 2024 What does the packaging say as I might be interested? Many thanks, Phil.
Owen Posted April 10, 2024 Author Posted April 10, 2024 I sat there and measured it with my super-measuring callipers and thought I had nailed it However, as in all things, I am open to correction and therefore suspect this is a BT2. Thanks I will check the packaging later on but am 99% that detail is not there. I have only just picked it up here 2nd hand on a hunch it would fit my MM (BT1). It did not. I was super close to just drilling the MM but then got a grip on myself.
Owen Posted April 10, 2024 Author Posted April 10, 2024 I also know that the GB7 will not fit a Schaller M4.
PhilAllGaps1 Posted April 10, 2024 Posted April 10, 2024 All of the ones I have and on the Bass Direct website have rivets on the back face. Did you get a box like the one in my picture?
Shepster8316 Posted April 10, 2024 Posted April 10, 2024 Looks like a BT7 to me..... https://hipshotproducts.com/collections/bass-xtenders/products/bt7-bass-xtender
Owen Posted April 10, 2024 Author Posted April 10, 2024 (edited) You are obviously correct. What is wrong with me? Edited April 10, 2024 by Owen
