Rib13Bass
I thought I would share this. The title is a little bit of a misleading double entendre: it is certainly not an attack on Charles, who I absolutely admire (and I hope I expressed that admiration enough in the video) but, instead, addresses the "culture problem" which is the issue that YouTube Bass Phenoms represent to impressionable aspiring players. There are many facets to being a pro bassist, many of which have nothing to do with technique and skill and can't really be expressed through a YouTube video...all this coming from a former pro working bassist. I know Charles is very experienced which is why I singled him out and stated that he can probably handle any situation, but I'm unsure of some other YT bass influencers Edited April 11 by Rib13Bass
