matt_leblanc Posted April 12, 2024 Posted April 12, 2024 Hi I've been using fodera nickel ultralights for quite some years now. They have the perfect tension for me (I suffer from various hand problems and normal gauges alway end hurting me). Other strings dont cut It for me. The things is fodera strings are now made by Dr strings, and they dont even made my gauge. But they do made the wooten pure blueses, Witch are the same gauge. Wooten used to sponsor fodera strings, so I imagine they Will feel kinda the same. Has anybody tried them? Or switched from fodera strings to the wooten strings? Do they have low tension? Thanks Quote
three Posted April 20, 2024 Posted April 20, 2024 I haven't used the Fodera strings but use the Pure Blues and find them to be excellent on long-scales. Very nice feel under the fingers, fairly bright, and compliant Quote
fretmeister Posted April 20, 2024 Posted April 20, 2024 I can’t use the Pure Blues anymore due to a nickel allergy but in the past I have enjoyed them a lot. Excellent strings! Quote
