Well, I hope that your mam is ok and all get sorted out, then later you can check it out. Having said that, i just took it to a gig (not my mum) to test it out. 1 Quote

Used the ME90B this evening. Only as a pedal board with a few different effects. It's excellent 👌. Ran it without mains cables, it used hardly any battery power and the sounds were just great. It's a winner . 3 Quote

evan47 Posted June 8, 2024 Posted June 8, 2024 Does anyone know which amp models are represented on the ME90b please? Quote
uk_lefty Posted June 8, 2024 Posted June 8, 2024 Well, you've all persuaded me. Will be ordering tomorrow. Has anyone got any kind of hard case for theirs? Quote
Big Low End Posted June 9, 2024 Posted June 9, 2024 Has anyone made a recent video of the various sounds after owning one of these for a few weeks? Quote

If the latter don’t sell those pedals. 1 Quote
funkydoug Posted June 11, 2024 Posted June 11, 2024 For me, the me90b brings closure to the pedal quest. I’ll keep it and will accept and learn to work around any compromises. I always thought I could imagine a better pedal board than the ones I had, whether that was separates or digital multis. Thats no longer true; I have a great respect for the work that is baked into this thing. 1 Quote

But while I'm sure I can hear and feel the difference with separate pedals over good quality digital multi effects I need to simplify and work within the limitations of my gear instead of chasing something I won't reach. 2 Quote

Wise words. For me it’s even worse than “won’t reach”, it’s often a case of thinking I’ve finally attained the tones I always wanted, then something in my brain gradually talks me out of it. Not sure if it’s that I get bored with sounds or that I have a relentless view that the grass is greener on the other side of the fence. Then I spend a stupid amount of money and the new pedal has to be justified. It sounds fresh and temporarily becomes the pedal which “ends my need for further adjustment of the pedalboard”. And so it goes on, the never-ending cycle. I have two shelves at home cluttered with pedals no longer used. I hope the ME90B is a keeper for you. 2 Quote

Don't get rid of your synth pedal any time soon though! 😅 I'm not sure how good that review was tbh, felt like it was doing quite a few things "adequately" and not necessarily showing off its potential? If you have a set of individual pedals you were 90% happy with, that's a pretty decent outcome! Genuinely looking forward to hearing if it ends up cutting the mustard for you, or if you decide to stick to your existing board? But nothing ventured, nothing gained! Quote

Keep up - we did that one on page 3 last month! 23 minutes ago, Al Krow said: I'm not sure how good that review was tbh, felt like it was doing quite a few things "adequately" and not necessarily showing off its potential? I am not sure you really can show it on a video, I guess that is the problem of everything with video reviews. I have had all the zooms, have a Helix HXFX, have a Mod Dwarf (if bass direct ever return it), and never found the sense of immediacy I get with this, like the way it responds to the bass. No, it doesn't have any great synths, but for the rest of the stuff, its pretty perfect for me. And you can do your gig on 4AA batteries. 1 Quote
