cocco
Dang that's pretty. Natural with blocks is one of my favourite colour schemes for a Jazz. Great grain on this one too. Congratulations!

I noticed slightly tighter (and, in fact, weaker) lows and a minor increase in brightness that I love. sshorepunk
Bridge is staying! I know the original is correct for year but the badass is a good change in this bass and something I’ve done in the past
Misdee
Back in 1975 adding a Badass to your Jazz Bass was a state-of-the-art upgrade. Badass stays! 1
bubinga5
I bought one of these brand new from Guitar Guitar I think back in 2012 for £1199. The thinnest most comfortable neck on any Jazz bass ever. It sounded great with the stock bridge.

Glad you managed to find one in the end. Likewise here. My first proper bass was a maple neck jazz but after that I’ve played rosewood exclusively. Recently bought a P with a maple neck and love the crispness in the attack with rounds on. Can totally see why people end up with huge collections of various permutations.
