EBS Magni 210 combo (sorted)

I recently picked this up used. It was in great condition and had very little use.

when i went to test it at the sellers house there was no sound.

The power came on but no  output from the speakers (internal or external cab)

(Seller had no idea there was a fault and gave me the amp for free with the agreement that I’d pay something if it was a cheap fix.)

 

The preamp section worked as did di out but just no output 

 

after several emails to EBS I eventually got a reply with no explanation but just advice that I take it to a tech!

I did 

He diagnosed a failed power module.

 

a month later and he still has no info from EBS on a replacement!!

Update:

my tech eventually heard back from EBS and they supplied a replacement board free of charge.

amp is now perfect and sounds fab.

EBS are back in my good books
