I have played guitars for many years and they go back in the case afterwards and look as good as the day I bought them. Aren't Sims in Kent? They do relics. They will refurb an original pre CBS Fender and apply their relic treatment as part of the refurb, but they don't take in a typical off the shelf guitar and apply their relic treatment. WHUFC BASS
I think he sells stuff on Ebay under the name "dazgixer" he's in Gillingham, Kent.
waynepunkdude
I really don't understand the relicing thing, do people come up at the end of a show and say "god your bass looks like it's been treated like sh*t, it must be great".
Jean-Luc Pickguard
Whenever I see those bravewood basses I get severe gas until I notice that the relic treatment extends underneath the pickguard. That would annoy me if I had one as it makes it stand out as a fake, so looks a bit wally.
