Question

Posted

Hi all,

Just got the message from my Nod32 antivirus.

There's a bank spyware in BassChat app, so I uninstalled it.

Hope someone will solve this problem.

It's in French, but easy to understand.

The basschat 'app' is just a direct link to the webpage, there is no code and certainly no bank spyware, unless there is bank spyware in your web browser. As a result, there isn't anything to fix. If your phone doesn't like it, remove it and just use the website instead.

Interesting "it's not me it's you" answer.

Did you, at least, check for eventual issues on your side?

Nod 32 (Eset Security) is a totally reliable and efficient antivirus and way more.

Funny to warn people about a possible breach and instead of "thank you very much, we'll check and report back", I got the usual "it's not me it's you" answer...

Next time, try to phrase in a less aggressive way too and stop taking me for an idiot, which is quite usual from you @Woodinblack !

Being a moderator doesn't make you a god.

So sad.
