Anyone used the Ketron unit which appears to be the only reasonably priced alternative to Studiologic.. ?

Yes I saw the advert. Seemed a bit pricey, suppose you get a guarantee from a retailer

There's the Doepfer MBP25 if you fancy a bit of carpentry or 3D printing.

I had a Ketron a while back; changing settings was a bit limited.

Good if you only want to dial in one sound or use a supplementary switcher.

FYI, if anybody is interested, I have a barebones set of pedals which came off an organ.

I got them as a project intending to add MIDI electrics and an enclosure, but I just went and bought a Roland PK-5A instead, so they've been sat gathering dist.

I should've put them on the table at the last Bass Bash!
