BEADist Posted May 3, 2024 Posted May 3, 2024 Greetings from Holland, This week I made an account, I think this is a nice and generally friendly forum, I like it! I am not someone to post a lot or start threads, but now I can [like] posts that I appreciate and ask questions. I started playing bass in 1989 and joined bands playing punk, deaf-metal, new wave, crossover, sludge and some experimental stuff. Right now I play in a drums and bass punk-ish duo. The drummer is singing and she encouraged me to start singing (well, lets call it shouting..) as well. I am so glad I did! I feel much more engaged with the music now that I do. No gigging with this duo, yet. On TalkBass I have an account with the same name and profile picture. I joined there because of a specific effect pedal I like. Here on Basschat I also will probably spend most time on the effect sub-forum. Thank you for reading my introduction! 4 Quote
