i think so,

its also very good to learn drums as it has patons built in you can slow right down, great for idiots like me

that need things banging in 1000 times before my brain wakes up and takes notice 🙂

but a great learning tool as well as good drum sounds to get on your tracks, its midi as well so you can use your old drum machine to play uptodate drum sounds into your daw, you can also play at 3 in the morning with out waking anyone up as its all mesh pads not rubber, so ...loads of scope.
