tayste_2000
Really interested to try one. It’s exactly the sort of thing I excitedly buy and never use 😅 2
NoirBass
I love the idea of it and it’s exactly the sort of tone I could use on the regular, but could probably do it with separates. The idea of an all in one solution is attractive though. Also, it’s a limited run only available through Sweetwiter, so unless one turns up here 2nd hand I’m unlikely to ever get a chance to test drive it. Baloney Balderdash
"Oom Bop"? That wasn't The Beach Boys in the 60's, that was the Hanson Brothers in the 90's! Edited May 20 by Baloney Balderdash

The Hanson bros. iteration was in fact ‘Mmm Bop’, which loses a lot in translation from the original Sanskrit. 😉

Abe Laboriel on bass for that recording, little known fact. Si

Sibob
What is going on with The Beach Boys and pedals at the mo?! Totally irrelevant collab, but everyone doing it?! Keeley just announced this: Si
MartinB
It's a big promotional thing for a new Beach Boys documentary that's coming to Disney+. A cynic might say that they're primarily aimed at selling to collectors who will snap up any official BB merch, and any usage for actually making music is just a bonus 😉

tayste_2000
Well when someone makes a channel strip/studio chain pedal that’s designed for flatwounds it’s basically like someone made a pedal just for me. But if I don’t like it, it’ll be going in a drawer for 10 years ready to cash in on that scarcity 😂 (or more likely it’ll be on this forum end of October) 1
MartinB
Collect all the Beach Boys! They're conveniently alphabetical - Al, Brian, Carl, Dennis. We don't talk about Mike Love 😒 The Punchline's getting some glowing reviews over on the other bass forum... but everyone seems to want to replace the knobs 🤷♂️
Supernaut
Dark stage and you hit a knob by accident - which one did I hit? Not a great design choice for a floor pedal.
