casapete
Am sure I read somewhere on here about an attachment that alters the position of the neck strap button on these basses. Love my Hohner, but the low frets are a bit of a stretch - think the aforementioned gadget makes the bass sit further down thus making the bottom end more reachable. Anyone know where to source these? I believe the original Steinberger ones are hard to get hold of. Cheers.

Sean
I got one of these for mine. I ordered it through amazon.com - it's here Although there's a routing on the Synapse for these they attach quite easily to the B2A type basses - I drilled an extra hole and used modified rubber washers. There is one little problem, though. They only deliver within the US, so you'll have to find someone to accept delivery and forward on to you. Raslee
I had one of these on my Steinberger Spirit that i sold. There is a user on here called steinbergerguitars from the USA, he got it for me which was great of him, but it didn't come cheap! With the postage etc it cost around £50...a lot of dosh for a little metal hook - maybe a local metal worker could make you something up cheaper??? btw, got a Synapse soft case up for grabs if anyone wants to make an offer?
