Edit: Had to dig, but elsewhere on the site it states that “The Master Series lineup is designed and crafted in Southern California”.

The price is about right really, considering the costs of the far east Dingwalls and similar.  Basically the same cost as a new StingRay, so even at production line level rather than handbuilt, its still not overpriced really, provided it is indeed built in the US.

Oh I agree, for US built, it wasn’t immediately clear though, so the price tag was jarring at first.

Good point! Would still like some variation on options
