I sometimes dep in my mates classic rock band but it's easy as they are all the classics we know and love.

I recently did learn Sweet Home Alabama properly and it is much more fun to play now

I decided not to go for it. Putting a classic rock station on in the car put me right off playing it. It really does nothing for me and some of it like Bon Jovi and Def Leopard I really dislike. It'll never work out.

Sounds like a good call, playing music you really dislike isn’t a good thing

Now I just need to find a doom metal band who want an incompetent bassist who doesn't really want to commit to anything.
