Rolf
I've wanted one of these for YEARS and I finally got one. It's a 1988 NT5 with a beautiful pommele bubinga body and stock EMGs. It plays great and balances pretty good too. Just needs a fresh coat of wax to bring out the nice wood grain!

fretmeister
That's lovely! Always fancied a 4 string version but the weight is too much for me, alas. Shame - they really do sound different to everything else.

Rolf
I'm very happy with it! It plays and sounds great as it is, and a cleanup, wax polish and oiled fretboard did wonders for the looks:

Not even my heaviest bass as it turns out, I had to check all my others and my 8-string P-bass is actually 5.2 kg
fretmeister
Wow! My 2 main basses are 2.9kg and 2.6kg!

It's a real special example, congrats!

NikNik
It's a shame they never made a 4-string with that pup configuration.
