Grassie
Hey people, A couple of weeks ago I bought a used Peavey Dynabass (International Series) from a friend of mine who needed to offload it as he was moving abroad. He said that when he got it from his local music shop (in Cornwall) he bought it as ex-demo, and paid about £250 for it. Can anyone tell me what these basses were worth brand new? budget bassist
not a lot, i think they were about £200 on GAK, so in a music shop in cornwall, £250 is probably about right

I paid £175 brand new for it, maybe 5 or so years ago. Great bass for the money, and it's really nicely balanced due to the long upper horn. ashevans09
I paid £200 for mine in PMT about 6 years ago . First bass! Great bass for the price, mine still gets a play every once in a while Edited May 18, 2009 by ashevans09
velvetkevorkian
I have two 5 strings (fretted and fretless) which set me back less than £200 for the pair. Good value.
Kongo
I'm surprised they held their value! Used to be £220 in my shops.
karlbbb
My first bass was a 5 string Dynabass, I seem to recall spending £200 on it.
Musky
Peavey's website lists the price at £199 for the 4 string and £219 for the 5. maxrossell
Hey, I actually have one of these! Well, it's not mine, but a mate of mine lets me borrow it on a perma-loan basis.
Grassie
Thanks guys, I was just curious. Not a bad sounding bass, very light, good for throwing around! Paid £50 for mine, a bargain then!
