cetera
GK800RB - The classic amp. Loud, punchy, authoritative and the most solid workhorse ever GK400RB - As above, just not quite as powerful (but still super loud!) GK Legacy800 - Fantastic tones in a small class D head Ampeg SVT II - 80's rock behemoth. Far too heavy and unreliable but what a sound...

I wish I could go back in time and tell my 22 year old self to stop trying to get a good sound with that stupid smiley EQ curve everybody used. Different music styles, speakers and basses make this feature desired and useful to some players.
Doctor J
I think, in my entire life, and I'm 50 now, I've only gigged through four amps 🤣 Trace GP12 Peavey MKII Ashdown ABM300 GK MB500 The only one which disappointed me was the Peavey which farted and died during a gig so, to the OP, I say the other three. Stub Mandrel
There can't be a right answer, because of different genres, playing techniques and styles, different basses and simple personal preferences. For me, my Orange Terror suits the music I play, and must score high on practicality, but I can see it not being other people's cup of tea. prowla
I'm not sure of the models, but they are by: Ampeg Trace Elliot SWR Honourable mention to: Acoustic Crown/Amcron (power amps) Oh, and also Markbass, for doing things that real people can carry!
