Lew-Bass
Are the basses of this name MIA? Also, how much do they cost new (roughly)? Thanks
lemmywinks
The standard is MIM isn't it? The ones i was looking at a couple of years ago were £399 - £
Sibob
Fender listings generally go like this: Fender Standard Jazz/Precision bass (Mexican MIM) Fender US Standard J/P (American MIA) Si
Lew-Bass
Ah OK, thanks guys Thought I'd found a bargain on the bay then :lol EDIT: Does anyone if a SR500 can pull off a jazz tone/sound good playing indie? Prosebass
I would consider this [topic="48917"]Fernandes JP [/topic] that kennyrodg is selling. I can vouch that the bass is excellent in condition , playability and tone plus Pete is a great guy to deal with. And its a whole lot more interesting than a Standard Jazz and better built I would say plus more versatile with the P/J pup configuration. lemmywinks
I guess you're gonna give it a miss then! Could do worse than to keep an eye on the lefty market thread
Geek99
I suggest going Japan (CIJ) - nice balance of price versus quality. My 62 RI jazz is amazing.

Neck size and feel, string tension, everything about it is great.

G&L certainly do make a lefty version of the JB2.
