velvetkevorkian Posted May 28, 2024 Posted May 28, 2024 I'm looking to do some bass rewiring without soldering, but struggling to find a suitable part that's not going to take up loads of space inside the control cavity -- the generic terminal blocks I have in the attic seem way too big. Can anyone recommend a specific part, or what term to search for to get something appropriate? Quote
lidl e Posted May 28, 2024 Posted May 28, 2024 The harnesses i get use these. Not sure what they are called Quote
JohnH89 Posted May 28, 2024 Posted May 28, 2024 (edited) Wago connectors from any good electrical supply shop . Or screwfix . I use them for testing mostly and would always solder a permanent connection . I'm sure they would be alright as a permanent solution. Edited May 28, 2024 by JohnH89 Quote
Matt P Posted May 28, 2024 Posted May 28, 2024 i'm a fan of the Wago connectors, the 221 range are the smaller ones i think, I used them exclusively for connecting up all sorts of projects. they are available in both linear and parallel versions and they are very easy to use. 1 Quote

I glue them to the back of the pots, bend the solder lugs towards the pins then solder them together; also ground 1 pin to the body of the pot 👍 1 Quote
