Colour inspiration.

Ever see a picture in an art gallery and think, I really want a bass in this colour! This is like an aged seafoam green with an undercoat of Aztec gold. Maybe. Fender experts may correct on this.

Not usually pictures, but yes, often see colours elsewhere and think they would be great for a bass. That is a fabulous one you have chosen!

That colour combo kind of reminds me of Sandberg's 'Aged Roquefort'

I think you’ve (and sandberg) have nailed it. I’ve tried to be a fan of their basses but just don’t like the tone. It’s perfectly usable but I can’t get excited about it.

Not paint, but I do sometimes see a lovely piece of wood that I think would make a nice bass.

I sometimes see some lovely money in my hobby-stuff bank account, and think that it would make a nice bass.
