jd56hawk
I keep finding something I 𝘴𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘧𝘯'𝘵 buy. Sure is tempting, though. I guess I can buy it and sell a few of my Squiers. Bacchus Handmade...they don't get any better!
dub_junkie
Elegant looking bass. Never owned or played a Bacchus, hopefully one day.....
jd56hawk
I've missed some really nice ones in the past because I wasn't sure about ordering from Japan.
LeftyJ
That's probably the closest I've ever seen a piece of wood look like a pair of jeans! Jokes aside, that looks great! I love the wood pickguard, control plate and pickup covers too. 1
Kiwi
I've tried a few. They definitely look the part but I've found them to be a bit lifeless for a jazz bass. It doesn't make sense given they look so good on paper. I found Peavey basses the same way as well. If I was in the market for a japanese made Jazz bass, the Moon JB5 would be top of my list. And there is always Sire.

NikNik
Who remembers Jim Bean amps from the mid '70s? They were upholstered in denim!

I really want it, it's here in the US, but I'm worried about the crack at the screw. Wouldn't want it to grow larger. They picked up cracks which I glued, then sanded/polished out. Comes with the territory. Edited June 10 by NikNik
Grahambythesea
Looks great. It says it’s a “Woodline” model. Aren’t they made in the Philippines? Almost certainly not Japan.
Doctor J
Woodlines are/were Japan handmade. Woodline just meant passive. The Standards were active. Top one here is a Woodline which I lopped a Sadowsky pre into, most definitely Japanese. Edited June 11 by Doctor J
