Bass Collection Sunburst 5 String with retrofitted Seymour Duncan Pickups and Active 3 Band circuit with variable midrange sweep control. Retrofited ABM Bridge.

£240 posted to the UK or £215 collected from Sheffield.

 

Has some dings and scratches as you’d expect for the age of this bass. None so bad the wood is exposed. Overall I would say it’s in good condition.

 

24 Frets, 34 inch scale. Lovely to play as per all Bass Collections.

 

Serial number is 914430. Not sure if this means it’s 1991 vintage. Also not sure if it’s a 305 or 315 but I don’t think that matters much if the pickups and circuit have been upgraded. 
 

Just restrung BEADG with a fresh set of Rotosound strings as previously it was tuned EADGC. I can include those old strings if you’d like. 

 

I will include a Warwick ‘Rock Case’ hard case. That’s in tatty condition but it’s mainly to protect the bass in transit.

 

Overall you’d struggle to get a more highly spec’d 5 string for this money.

It's an SB315. I picked up a black one a few weeks ago and immediately swapped the stock preamp for a 2-band Glockenklang. It's my second one and I love it. 

And your one is from 1991.

I honestly think these classic Bass Collections should go down in the historic bass guitar design hall of fame alongside Fenders, Rickys, Spectors etc. Really cool and stupidly cheap with it.
