For sale K&K pickup & preamp. The pickup features a Piezo sensor plus a Microphone. The preamp allows the user to control the level of both piezo & mic separately, to get a perfect balance.

 

The piezo is a great pickup, as you'd expect from K&K. But the added microphone is a real boon, as it helps capture the natural acoustic sound of your upright.

 

Powered by a single PP3 9v battery, The preamp controls allow for fine adjustment of each pickup separately. It's really adjustable and I was always happy with the sound from it. The label on the preamp is a little worn now - but everything works perfectly. 

 

I have now sold the bass this was on - so I'm not going to use it.

I can't believe this still hasn't sold. It's a quality pickup. Plus you can really blend the Piezo and Mic to cover a huge range of sounds, or just use either Mic or Piezo separately.
